Updated March 2026.
“Double barrel” is store English, not a TTB class. If the bottle is bourbon, it still needs Houses use the phrase for a second cask, a finish, or a second char — the label has to say which. Woodford Reserve Double Oaked prints 90.4 proof (45.2% ABV) on the official page used in a prior rewrite. A 1.5-ounce pour is 1.13 NIAAA drinks. We will not invent a 2026 ranking.
Related: double-oaked bourbon, toasted-barrel bourbon, Woodford line.
