Peychaud’s vs Angostura: What’s the Difference?

Updated August 2026.

Peychaud’s and Angostura are cocktail bitters, not TTB spirit classes. A few dashes in an IBA Old Fashioned or Manhattan do not replace the whiskey pour. Count the spirit, not the dash bottle, unless you drink bitters as a shot. No ranking or street price.
