Hornitos US bottles print 40% ABV / 80 proof — the May 2026 Suntory Global Spirits footer says “Hornitos® Tequila, 40% alc./vol.” A 1.5-ounce pour is one NIAAA standard drink. It is 100% Blue Weber agave tequila from Casa Sauza in the town of Tequila, Jalisco. The CRT NOM on current bottles is 1102 (Tequila Sauza). Beam Suntory rebranded to Suntory Global Spirits in 2024. We will not invent a 2026 MSRP.
Blanco, Reposado, and Añejo are CRT age classes, not extra proof. Lime and Pineapple are flavored — read that neck. Related: tequila types, Jose Cuervo, tequila drinks.

A 750 mL 40% bottle is about 17 standard drinks; a 1.75 L handle about 39.5. Four Blanco pours are four drinks. NIAAA binge pattern is a health line, not a target. Mexico domestic lots can print 35% — that is not the US default. NOM 1102 is Sauza, not Patrón (1492) and not current Casamigos (1609). Pour math: margarita tequila.
