Ranch Water is not an IBA cocktail. The West Texas highball that stuck is 100% agave blanco tequila, fresh lime, and sparkling mineral water (Topo Chico is the usual can, not a legal ingredient). A 1.5-ounce 40% pour is one NIAAA standard drink before the mixer; a common 2-ounce bar pour is 1.33 drinks. “Best tequila” is a clean 80-proof blanco that still tastes like agave after bubbles. This is not a 2022 top-seven tasting.
Gold / joven mixtos plus caramel make a different drink. Reposado is legal; it adds oak. CRT types: silver vs gold, blanco tequila, margarita tequila.

Four 2-ounce 40% Ranch Waters are about 5.3 standard drinks. NIAAA binge pattern is a health line, not a target. Topo Chico is Coca-Cola mineral water — 0.0% ABV. Hours to buy the bottle are state law. No 2026 MSRP. Pour math: tequila drinks.
