Clase Azul is a Jalisco tequila house that also bottles mezcal. The famous blue ceramic is reposado tequila — typically 40% ABV / 80 proof. A 1.5-ounce pour is one NIAAA standard drink. Current tequila lots are reported as CRT NOM 1595; older bottles can read 1416 or 1137. Mezcal sits under NOM-070 (35–55% ABV) with lot-specific proof. We will not invent a 2026 MSRP.
Casamigos current NOM is 1609 (1416 is historical for that brand). Do not treat a shared old contractor number as the same juice. Related: tequila types, reposado vs añejo, additive-free tequila.

A 750 mL 40% bottle is about 17 standard drinks. Four reposado pours are four drinks. NIAAA binge pattern is a health line, not a target. Mezcal is not tequila. Pour math: tequila drinks.
