Updated August 2026.
SKYY Vodka — the cobalt-blue American vodka — is 40% ABV / 80 proof on US bottles. A 1.5-ounce pour is one NIAAA standard drink. Campari America (Gruppo Campari) owns the brand (Skyy Spirits LLC renamed after the 2009 acquisition). It is grain vodka, not grape. TTB vodka identity is a US type.
Australia/New Zealand bottles can print 37.5%; South Africa has been listed at 43%. Read the neck. SKYY Infusions are flavored — different class, often lower proof. We will not reprint a 2021 price list. Related: vodka guide, Smirnoff, Absolut.
US 40% vs other markets
| SKU / market | Typical ABV | 1.5 oz drinks | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| SKYY Vodka, US | 40% / 80 | 1.00 | US label; Campari America |
| AU / NZ | 37.5% reported | 0.94 | Market split |
| Infusions (flavored) | Label | Usually <1.00 | Different class |
A 750 mL US bottle is about 17 standard drinks; a 1.75 L handle is about 39.5. Four 1.5-ounce pours are four drinks. NIAAA binge pattern is a health line, not a target. “Four distillations / triple filtered” is brand process talk, not extra ethanol. Pour math: vodka drinks. Freeze: does vodka freeze.
