Tequila taste is not a CRT class. NOM-006 sets blanco, joven, reposado, añejo, and extra añejo, plus 100% agave versus mixto. Drinkers often cite cooked agave, pepper, or oak on older classes — that is bar talk. Typical US bottles print 40% Casamigos current NOM is 1609 (historical 1416). A 1.5-ounce pour at 40% is one NIAAA drink.
