These are different legal types, not a trophy pair. US bourbon has to be at least 51% corn, the United States, new charred oak. Canadian whisky is the FDR class (B.02.020–B.02.023), not the US mash rule. Maker’s Mark prints Proof 90. Crown Royal Deluxe is typically 40%. A 1.5-ounce pour at 40% is one NIAAA drink.
