Casamigos Blanco and Patrón Silver are the same ethanol on typical US necks: 40% ABV / 80 proof. A 1.5-ounce pour is one NIAAA standard drink either way. The split is the NOM, not extra proof. Patrón is Hacienda Patrón, NOM 1492 (Bacardi, 2018). Current US Casamigos bottles we can document print NOM 1609 (Diageo México Operaciones, as of August 2026). Older lots have been reported as NOM 1416. Both core lines are 100% agave under NOM-006.
April 2026: Patrón launched Patrón 100 at 50% ABV (100 proof) — a different SKU, about 1.25 drinks per 1.5 ounces. Related: Casamigos, Patrón, who makes Casamigos, tequila for margaritas.

A 750 mL 40% bottle is about 17 standard drinks. Four 1.5-ounce pours are four drinks. NIAAA binge pattern is a health line, not a target. No 2026 MSRP and no fake tasting. Pour math: tequila drinks.
