Updated March 2026.
1800 Blanco, Reposado, and Añejo are official 750 ml / 40% Alc./Vol. / 80 proof this fetch. US tequila is bottled at or above 40% ABV (27 CFR 5.148). The named flavor with a printed number this run is Coconut at 35% / 70 — flavored may sit under the tequila floor. High Proof Blanco and Reposado are separate 45% SKUs. No #1 ranking. No MSRP.
Is the core bottle “good” as a class: is 1800 tequila good. Reposado as an age word: what is reposado tequila. Cabinet, not wood: how to store tequila.
What the official tiles print
1800tequila.com this run: Blanco is double-distilled from 100% Blue Weber agave, yeast, and water. Reposado is 100% Blue Weber aged in new American and French oak. Añejo is 100% Blue Weber, double-distilled in copper, aged in new American and French oak for more than a year. Those three tiles all print 750ML | 40% Alc./Vol. | 80 Proof. That is the US tequila floor, not a ranking.
The brand facts page (same fetch) says 1800 operates under NOM 1612 and that the core cook is masonry ovens. We will not invent a CRT number beyond that NOM. We will not reprint the brand’s “#1 premium / super-premium” line as if it were a class.
| SKU | Official ABV / proof this fetch | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| 1800 Blanco | 40% / 80 | Tequila — 27 CFR 5.148 ≥40% |
| 1800 Reposado | 40% / 80 | Tequila — oak-rested; class still ≥40% |
| 1800 Añejo | 40% / 80 | Tequila — official “more than a year” |
| 1800 High Proof Blanco | 45% / 90 | Separate SKU; 375 ml tile this fetch |
| 1800 High Proof Reposado | 45% ABV | Separate SKU; family tiles this fetch |
| 1800 Coconut | 35% / 70 | Named flavor — not the tequila floor |
| 1800 Cristalino | 40% / 80 | Official crystal-clear añejo; not a flavor |
| 1800 Milenio | 40% / 80 | Official extra-añejo; not a flavor |
Coconut is the only named flavor whose product tile printed ABV this fetch. Cucumber & Jalapeño appears on cocktail pages; no official ABV on a product tile this run. Unused as a lock. Read the neck.
What is not a tequila flavor
Ultimate Margarita ready-to-serve bottles (Watermelon, Peach, Passion Fruit this fetch) print 9.95% ABV / 19.9 proof. Those are premixed cocktails, not tequila SKUs and not “flavors of 1800 tequila.” A 1.5 oz pour of 9.95% is about 0.25 NIAAA standard drinks. A 1.5 oz pour of 40% Blanco is one. A 1.5 oz pour of 35% Coconut is about 0.88. A 1.5 oz pour of 45% High Proof is 1.125. Math, not a tasting crown.
The 2022 URL ranked Reserva Reposado #1, called Colección a 40-bottle Forbes rarity, priced Coconut as the cheapest SKU, and locked 8–12-year agave plus a 14-month Añejo clock. Official Añejo this fetch is “more than a year.” Facts-page Reposado rest is 2–4 months; facts-page Añejo is 12–16 months — brand process copy, not a second TTB class. Colección this fetch is “sold out” with no ABV on the listing. Unused as a catalog. No 2026 MSRP.
Cristalino and Milenio are official 40% tequila tiles, not coconut-style flavors. Cristalino is a filtered añejo finished in port casks. Milenio is extra-añejo with a Cognac-barrel finish. Guachimonton is a named luxury añejo on the shop list this fetch with no ABV on that listing — unused as a number. Artist-series bottles are packaging around a core liquid; they do not create a new class.
Class vs flavor
27 CFR 5.148: agave spirits bottled at or above 40% ABV; tequila is a distinctive product of Mexico. Coconut at 35% is a flavored specialty the brand itself prints under 40%. Other-market 38% 1800 lots exist on the leftover is 1800 tequila good page Freezer science is a different FAQ: can tequila freeze. Glass does not keep aging agave.
