There is no official “best Balcones.” Texas “1” Single Malt — the Waco flagship — prints 53% Alc/Vol on balconesdistilling.com. A 1.5-ounce pour at 53% is 1.33 NIAAA drinks. “Texas whisky” is origin language, not a TTB class. Other SKUs (Pot Still Bourbon, Rye 100, True Blue) are different bottles — read those necks. We will not invent a 2023 ranking or MSRP. Craft is not a legal type.
