Updated March 2026.
Costco does not brew Kirkland Hard Seltzer. Variety-pack packaging has carried a brewing statement for Patco Brands in Hood River, Oregon (Food Republic; Chowhound; The Takeout). VinePair also saw MPL Brands NV, Inc. listed on the carton — read the box in your warehouse. Typical 12-ounce cans are 5% ABV and about 100 calories: that is one NIAAA standard drink, same math as a 5% beer. It is not White Claw (Mark Anthony Brands).
Patco is a private-label producer (Rancho La Gloria RTDs, Kyla Hard Kombucha) and lists Costco among retail partners. A 2024 Kirkland Signature Vodka + Soda line is a different SKU (reported 4.5% — confirm the can). We will not invent a 2026 warehouse price. Vs White Claw math: White Claw drinks.
What the pack actually says
| Item | Typical line | Source / caveat |
|---|---|---|
| Brewer | Patco Brands, Hood River, OR | On-label brewing statement quoted 2024–26 |
| Second name on some cartons | MPL Brands NV, Inc. | VinePair 2025; role not split by flavor in public docs |
| ABV / size | 5% / 12 oz | One NIAAA drink. Confirm the can. |
| Calories | ~100 per 12 oz | Trade/review panels, not a Costco PDF. |
| Not this product | White Claw; Kirkland Vodka + Soda | Different companies / different class |
Four 12-ounce 5% cans are four drinks. NIAAA binge pattern is a health line, not a target. Hours to buy a variety pack are state law. Beer aisle: Kirkland beer.
