Sangria Brandy: What the Label Has to Mean

There is no official best brandy for sangria. Sangria is a wine punch. US brandy is a US type. Cognac is a brandy type with its own rules — do not swap the categories. Typical US brandy is 40%. A 1.5-ounce 40% pour is one drink on top of the wine. Official brand lists unused as a crown. No 2026 ranking.
