The non-alcoholic Kirkland Premium Margarita Cocktail Mix does not have a publicly named producer. Listings and label photos show “Distributed by Costco.” There is no TTB COLA for a zero-proof mixer, so the spirits-registry trick that names Kirkland vodka or tequila does not work here. We will not invent American Beverage Marketers, Master of Mixes, or Jose Cuervo as the factory. The alcoholic Kirkland Golden Margarita (a ready-to-drink bottle) is a different SKU.
MPL Brands has listed a Kirkland Golden Margarita among products it manufactures — that is the boozy RTD, not this mixer. The mix itself is zero NIAAA drinks until you add tequila. Four 1.5-ounce 40% tequila margaritas are four drinks. NIAAA binge pattern is a health line, not a target. IBA spec uses tequila, lime, and orange liqueur — not a grocery mixer. Pour math: margarita drinks.
