Casamigos Blanco is 40% ABV / 80 proof on the official US product page (fetched via brand listing this run: “40% ABV • 750 ml • Unaged”). A 1.5-ounce pour is one NIAAA standard drink. Reposado and Añejo are the same proof class unless the neck differs. It is 100% Blue Weber agave tequila from Jalisco. Diageo bought the brand in 2017. Founders were George Clooney, Rande Gerber, and Mike Meldman — ownership is not the NOM.
Current US bottles we can document print NOM 1609 (Diageo México Operaciones, Atotonilco El Alto, Jalisco) as of August 2026. Older lots have been reported as NOM 1416 (Productos Finos de Agave).
