Cabo Wabo vs Patrón: What’s the Difference?

Updated August 2026.

Cabo Wabo and Patrón are two Jalisco tequila houses, not one juice with two labels. Cabo Wabo’s site footer prints 40% alc./vol. (80 proof). Patrón Silver’s product page prints 40% alcohol by volume. A 1.5-ounce pour of either is one NIAAA drink. The CRT NOM four digits name the distillery on the bottle in hand. We will not invent a 2026 MSRP. Casamigos current NOM is 1609 (1416 is historical for that brand).

A 750 mL 40% bottle is about 17 drinks. Four pours are four drinks. NIAAA binge pattern is a health line, not a target. Pour math: tequila drinks.
