Beefeater London Dry is 40% ABV / 80 proof on the current US brand FAQ (“40% ABV in most countries”). A 1.5-ounce pour is one NIAAA standard drink. That is a change: US Beefeater was 47% for years, dropped to 44% in 2020, then to 40% in late 2023 (VinePair; theginisin). Leftover 44% bottles still exist. Read the neck.
