Tiki Rum: What the Label Has to Mean

There is no official best rum for tiki drinks. Tiki is bar language, not a TTB class. US rum is a US type.147 at 40% or more. Overproof SKUs exist — read the neck and scale drinks. White, gold, and dark are color words. Typical US bottles print 40%. A 1.5-ounce pour at 40% is one NIAAA drink.
