Wine for Charcuterie: What the Label Has to Mean

Updated March 2026

There is no official best wine for charcuterie. Pair the grape and the salt or fat on the board — not a 2026 ranking. Typical US table lots sit near 12–14% Sparkling, lighter red, and off-dry white are serve talk, not crowns. Fortified wine is a different bottle. Residual leftover unused. No MSRP.
