Carolans vs Baileys: What’s the Difference?

Updated May 2026. Carolans and Baileys Original are Irish cream liqueurs, not a trophy pair. Both core bottles print 17% alcohol on official pages. Some other-market Carolans bottles cite 14.5% — read the neck. Neither is whiskey. A 1.5-ounce pour at 17% is 0.43 of one US standard drink.
