Don Julio Blanco is unaged 100% blue-weber tequila from Jalisco, bottled at 40% ABV / 80 proof. The distillery NOM lock is 1449. “Silver” on a shelf talker is the same class — blanco — not a second liquid. This is the mixing bottle in the house line, not 1942 and not 70 Cristalino. Hub: Don Julio.

What the bottle actually is
Blanco may rest up to 60 days under NOM-006; Don Julio’s brief calls this one unaged and double-distilled. We will not invent a resting day-count the brand does not print. Lab notes
Nose, rewritten: raw and cooked agave at once, then a citrus peel rack — lemon, lime, grapefruit — without the vanilla that shows up once oak is in the story. Palate is light and slightly sweet, then a dry, clean close. Finish is short-to-medium and agave-forward. That is a bench sketch from the house notes, not a ranking against Patrón Silver or Casamigos Blanco.
