Grey Goose flagship and Absolut Original are both typically 40% ABV / 80 proof on US bottles. A 1.5-ounce pour is one NIAAA standard drink either way. Both are wheat vodkas in the same TTB class. Grey Goose is Bacardi, distilled in France (Picardy wheat, Gensac-la-Pallue water). Absolut is Pernod Ricard, distilled in Åhus, Sweden. “Better” is not a TTB score.
