Grey Goose does not make Kirkland vodka. The brand FAQ (fetched ) says the viral claim is “completely false” and that Grey Goose “does not produce nor privately label Kirkland vodka.” Both flagship bottles sit on the US vodka floor: 40% ABV / 80 proof. A 1.5-ounce pour is one NIAAA standard drink either way. The split is the producer and the still story, not extra ethanol.
Kirkland American back labels / COLA reporting point to Fairmont Ltd / LeVecke in California. Kirkland French points to Distillerie de Gayant in Douai — not the Gensac Grey Goose plant. Grey Goose is distilled once from Picardie wheat (brand). Kirkland French copy has said five distillations (Grey Goose FAQ). Read the bottle in the cart. A 1.75 L 40% Kirkland handle is about 39.5 standard drinks; a 750 mL Grey Goose about 17. Four pours are four drinks. NIAAA binge pattern is a health line, not a target. We will not invent a 2026 warehouse-vs-shelf price. Pour math: vodka drinks.
