US Tanqueray London Dry is 47.3% ABV. US Bombay Sapphire is typically 47% / 94 proof. Both sit above the TTB gin floor (40%). A 1.5-ounce Tanqueray pour is about 1.18 NIAAA standard drinks; a 1.5-ounce 47% Sapphire pour is about 1.18 as well. UK, EU, and some other-market Sapphire bottles are often 40% — read the neck. Tanqueray’s US page footer prints “47.3% Alc/Vol.” Both are London Dry process gins (juniper-led, no post-distillation sweetening).
