Tawny and ruby are Port style words, not two TTB spirit types. Genuine Port is Douro origin wine. Ruby keeps fruit color; tawny takes wood and oxidizes. Those are style words. US “port” sits under and is not automatically Douro. Typical lots sit near 20% US Taylor Port official is 18% and is not Taylor Fladgate. A 5-ounce pour at 20% is about 1.67 drinks.
