Tito’s vs Grey Goose: What’s the Difference?

Updated May 2026.

Tito’s Handmade and Grey Goose flagship are both 40% ABV / 80 proof on US bottles. A 1.5-ounce pour is one NIAAA standard drink either way. Tito’s is corn vodka distilled in Austin, Texas (Fifth Generation). Grey Goose is French wheat vodka (Bacardi; Cognac-region distillery story on brand pages). The class is the same. The farm and the still story differ.

Grey Goose Essences is 30% on the brand FAQ — not the flagship. Flavored Tito’s SKUs: read the neck. Related: Tito’s guide, Grey Goose, Ketel One vs Tito’s.
