Amaretto Drinks: Proof, Pour Sizes, and IBA

There is no official “best amaretto drink.” Amaretto is an almond-style liqueur. Disaronno is commonly labeled 28% ABV in the US, read that neck (some markets print 20%). A 1.5-ounce pour at 28% is 0.70 NIAAA drinks. IBA’s current French Connection is 35 ml cognac + 35 ml amaretto. Godfather (Scotch + amaretto) is a classic bar build; the IBA Godfather URL 404’d. Not a 2023 ranking.
