Under $100 is the shelf tag that day — not a value medal and not an MSRP we will invent. Añejo is the CRT class: one to three years in oak no larger than 600 liters. Extra añejo is three years or more and often misses $100. Most US añejos print 40% ABV, so a 1.5-ounce pour is one NIAAA drink. Buy 100% agave and the NOM. Mixto can still say tequila.

A 750 mL 40% bottle is about 17 drinks. Four neat pours are four drinks. NIAAA binge pattern is a health line, not a target. Pour math: tequila drinks.
