Updated March 2026.
There is no official “best Bushmills.” Original, Black Bush, and the 10 Year single malt each print 40% ABV / 80 proof on bushmills.com. A 1.5-ounce pour at 40% is one NIAAA drink. Irish whiskey still has to be mashed, distilled, and aged in Ireland at least three years. The 10 Year Private Reserve Bordeaux Cask is a different SKU at 46.5% / 93. We will not invent a 2023 ranking or MSRP.
