Bushmills vs Tullamore D.E.W.: What’s the Difference?

Updated April 2026.

Bushmills Original and Tullamore D.E.W. Original are two Irish blends, not a contest. Bushmills Original prints 40% ABV / 80 proof on bushmills.com. Tullamore’s US shop prints Original at 40% ABV / 750 ml. A 1.5-ounce pour at 40% is one NIAAA drink either way. Both still have to meet the Irish three-year floor. Antrim (Bushmills) and Offaly (Tullamore) are different distilleries. We will not pick a winner or invent an MSRP.
