Jim Beam Bourbon Line: Proofs and Types

Updated March 2026.

There is no official “best Jim Beam.” Beam Distilling’s Jim Beam page used in this project prints Proof: 80 (40% ABV) for the white-label Kentucky straight bourbon. A 1.5-ounce pour is one NIAAA drink. Bonded SKUs are 100 proof if the label is bottled in bond. Other Beam bottles (Black, Double Oak, Distiller’s Cut, single barrel) — read each neck. Mash-bill percentages are unpublished. Not a 2022 ranking.
