Reposado is a CRT age class — oak from 2 months up to 1 year — not a proof class and not a 2022 brand ranking. Most US reposados print 40% ABV. A 1.5-ounce pour is one NIAAA standard drink. “Best” starts with 100% agave and a NOM, not caramel-colored mixto “gold.” House stories (Herradura’s 9- vs 11-month copy) sit on top of the 2-month floor.
