Don Julio Reposado is 100% blue-weber tequila aged at least six months in American white oak, bottled at 40% ABV / 80 proof in Jalisco. NOM lock remains 1449. Reposado is the “rested” class — more than two months, less than a year — not añejo and not the pink Rosado SKU. Hub: Don Julio.

What the bottle actually is
Six months is the house age line on this SKU, above the two-month legal floor. Color is oak, not a caramel we will invent. Same 40% as the blanco, so the drink count does not change: one 1.5-ounce pour is one standard drink. Double-cask and Lagavulin-finished reposados are different bottles. Rosado is a different bottle.
Lab notes
Nose: lemon-citrus and baking spice, then stone fruit — peach/apricot territory — rather than the grapefruit snap of the blanco. Palate is softer. House notes point at dark chocolate, vanilla, and light cinnamon; we will say cocoa-and-vanilla mid-palate with a cinnamon edge, not a mocha dessert. Finish is silky, then dried fruit, nut, and a caramel-apple hint that reads as oak sugar, not cider.
