Jameson Black Barrel vs Jameson: What’s the Difference?

Updated June 2026.

These are two Jameson blends, not a trophy pair. Pernod nutrition prints Jameson Original and Jameson Black Barrel at 40% ABV. Black Barrel is a SKU that talks about double-charred bourbon casks — that is cask marketing, not a TTB class. Triple distilled is a process. A 1.5-ounce pour at 40% is one NIAAA drink.
