These are two 80-proof American whiskeys from different companies and different legal labels. Beam Distilling’s Jim Beam page prints Proof: 80. Brown-Forman’s US product-info sheet prints Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey at 40% Alc. by Vol. (80 proof). A 1.5-ounce pour of either flagship is one NIAAA drink. This is not a 2022 winner.
Jim Beam White is bourbon. Old No. 7 is Tennessee whiskey. Mash-bill percentages are unpublished on these official pages. Related: Is Jim Beam bourbon?, Beam proof, Jack proof.
