Updated May 2026.
Sazerac Straight Rye is 90 proof / 45% ABV on Buffalo Trace’s product page. A 1.5-ounce pour is 1.13 NIAAA standard drinks. It is Kentucky straight rye whiskey from Buffalo Trace Distillery (Sazerac Company) — not “the Sazerac cocktail in a bottle.” A 100-proof SKU (50% ABV) is on the brand site. Full Proof has been listed at 125 proof / 62.5% in 2025 trade copy. Read that neck.
