Updated March 2026.
Eagle Rare Aged 10 Years is 90 proof / 45% ABV on the official Buffalo Trace product page (fetched: “Proof 90 (45%)”). A 1.5-ounce pour is 1.13 NIAAA standard drinks. It is Kentucky straight bourbon, Mash Bill #1, from Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort (Sazerac). The 10-year age statement is on the label. It is not the flagship Buffalo Trace dump, and it is not Blanton’s. We will not invent a 2026 MSRP.
Allocation and secondary tags are not a suggested retail we will print. Related: Buffalo Trace, Blanton’s, who makes Blanton’s.
10 Year vs the rest of the eagle
| SKU | Typical US strength | 1.5 oz drinks | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Eagle Rare 10 | 45% / 90 | 1.13 | Brand page; Mash Bill #1 |
| Eagle Rare 17 (BTAC) | Label-dependent; often 50.5% | Do the math | Antique Collection; not the grocery 10 |
| Double Eagle Very Rare | Read the neck | Do the math | Ultra-limited 20-year story (brand) |
| Buffalo Trace flagship | 45% / 90 | 1.13 | Same campus and mash family; NAS |
A 750 mL 45% bottle is about 19 standard drinks. Four 90-proof pours are about 4.5 drinks. NIAAA binge pattern is a health line, not a target. “Single barrel” came off the 10-year label years ago (trade) — the age and 90 proof are what the current page prints. Identity: Pour math: whiskey drinks.
